The promotional push for the upcoming Netflix's film Nimona is now in effect.
On Saturday, some of the cast and crew were on hand for a special screening at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City.
The computer-animated science fantasy adventure comedy features the voice of Chloë Grace Moretz as the titular character and Academy Award-winner Riz Ahmed as her partner and former knight.
Directed by Nick Bruno and Troy Quane from a screenplay by Robert L. Baird and Lloyd Taylor, Nimona is based on the graphic novel of the same name by ND Stevenson.
The story begins when Nimona (Moretz), a teenager with the power to shapeshift, is targeted by a knight for assassination.
The knight's mission to kill Nimona becomes complicated when he is accused of a crime, and learns that Nimona may be able to exonerate him, according to Movie Web.

Ahead of the screening, Moretz, 26, hit the red carpet in black flared slacks and a white-patterned shirt with pinstripes that she left unbuttoned to reveal the white top underneath.
The Atlanta, Georgia native also wore a pair of black pointed heels, and had her new blonde bob styled in a slight wet look, pushed back off her face, and behind her ears.
'This is a movie for anyone other than,' Moretz shared in an interview on the red carpet that was posted on her Instagram Story. 'For anyone who has ever felt felt ostracized by society, or villainized for the way they present themselves, or the way that they were born.'
The Let Me In star would also take to her Instagram page to post a series of photos of herself striking various poses.
'#Nimona premiere day, what a beautiful movie. So proud to be part of this ❤️ so excited for you all to watch it only on Netflix June 30th!' she wrote in the caption.
Along with Moretz and Ahmed the cast of voice actors also includes Eugene Lee Yang, Frances Conroy, Lorraine Toussaint, Beck Bennett, RuPaul, Sarah Sherman, Indya Moore and Julio Torres.

Nimona is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on June 30.
