The reasoning behind the altercation that Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly were involved in on Thursday night has seemingly been revealed.
Just the other night Megan was seen being slammed into a barricade when she got caught up in an altercation involving her husband-to-be and a stranger, which came after he was said to have complimented the Jennifer's Body star.
The couple, who recently rekindled their romance after a short break and are now planning their wedding again, went to The OC Fair in Costa Mesa, California for a fun-filled evening. But it soon took a turn when someone expressed their admiration for Megan's beauty.
A TikTok video, that emerged yesterday, shows the aftermath of an altercation between MGK, 33, and the man. In the clip, seconds after the alleged altercation, the couples' bodyguard can be seen trying to take down the stranger involved.
Megan, 37, can then be seen getting caught up in the middle as she was pushed against the ride's barrier. Immediately, the protective rapper quickly pulled Megan out of the situation, and they all headed off.
But now the reasoning behind the alleged altercation has emerged, with a man deciding to compliment Megan being the root cause, the brother of the man involved claimed.
Speaking to TMZ, Nelson Zuniga explained how he and his family were waiting to get on the UFO ride at the OC Fair on Thursday night, with them then seeing MGK and Megan stepping off of it. Nelson's younger brother Angel, clocked who Megan was and was then quick to say something to the star.
According to Angel's brother, he innocently told Megan that she was "beautiful as f**k", which in turn allegedly sparked the altercation. Speaking to the outlet, Nelson then revealed that his younger brother's comment led to Machine Gun Kelly asking him to repeat what he said before the now-viral incident took place.
With the couples' security quick to intervene, they pushed Nelson's brother back and he "accidentally ended up shoving Megan in the process", according to the site.
Megan and Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, met back in 2020 when they both worked on the movie Midnight in the Switchgrass. The couple then fell madly in love before getting engaged in 2022.
But in recent months they've been going through a turbulent patch in their relationship, which has seen them go for counselling before recently rekindling their romance.
On Thursday, prior to the altercation at the fun fair, it was reported that wedding plans appear to be back in motion for the couple. With a report emerging that hints that the famous duo are hoping to tie the knot sooner rather than later.
