The “Friends” cast has released a statement after the passing of Matthew Perry.
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer put out the joint release, according to PEOPLE. Perry died Oct. 28.
"We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family," the statement reads. "There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."
"In time we will say more, as and when we are able," the release continues. "For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."
The statement was signed by the remaining “Friends” cast members.
Perry played the character of Chandler Bing on “Friends” for 10 years. He was nominated for an Emmy in 2002 for the role.
