Shia LaBeouf’s relationship timeline is full of big names, many of whom he was linked to while acting alongside them.
Despite keeping his private life pretty hidden throughout his career, LaBeouf has occasionally opened up about his love life. The Even Stevens alum revealed he went on dates with both Rihanna and Hilary Duff, and has romanced more than one of his costars.
“It never got beyond one date,” LaBeouf told Playboy in 2009 about his time with the “Umbrella” singer. “The spark wasn’t there. We weren’t passionate about each other in that way, so we remain friends.”
The former Disney Channel’s encounter with Duff was similar. During a 2011 interview with Details magazine, LaBeouf explained that his first and only outing with the Lizzie McGuire alum was “probably the worst date either of us have ever had.”
The California native has also been linked to actresses Amber Tamblyn and Carey Mulligan throughout his career — and wooed two of his Transformers costars, Megan Fox and Isabel Lucas.
“Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them,” the Peanut Butter Falcon actor said of his time with Fox. “I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.”
Seven years later, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles actress opened up about the showmance during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
“Um, I mean, I would confirm it was romantic. I love him,” Fox told Andy Cohen in November 2018. “I’ve never been really private about that. I love him.”
LaBeouf had longer-term relationships with stylist Karolyn Pho and Nymphomaniac: Vol. II costar Mia Goth. After dating for four years, Goth and LaBeouf got married in Las Vegas in October 2016. Two years later, Us Weekly confirmed in September 2018 that the pair “have filed for divorce.”
The lovebirds were spotted back together in March 2020, and both were wearing wedding rings while out in L.A. The twosome were seen together again in January 2022 when Goth debuted a baby bump. In August of that year, the former child star confirmed that the couple had welcomed a baby girl named Isabel.

FKA Twigs
Us confirmed in September 2018 that the former Disney Channel star and “Home With You” singer were dating after LaBeouf filed for divorce from Goth. The two met on the set of Honey Boy earlier that year. After nine months together LaBeouf and FKA Twigs called it quits in June 2019.
In December 2020, the Grammy nominee accused her Honey Boy costar of "relentless abuse" during their yearlong relationship, including sexual battery, assault and infliction of emotional distress. She also alleged that LaBeouf knowingly gave her a sexually transmitted disease and once threatened to crash their car while they were driving together. The Disney alum denied several of his ex's allegations in a statement to The New York Times, but also noted that he was "ashamed" of his past behavior.
"I am not cured of my PTSD and alcoholism. I am committed to doing what I need to do to recover, and I will forever be sorry to the people that I may have harmed along the way," he said at the time. "I'm not in any position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel. I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I'm ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say."

Margaret Qualley
The Disney Channel alum and the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actress stripped down and kissed on a bed in the NSFW music video “Love Me Like You Hate Me” for Qualley’s sister, Rainey Qualley, who records under the name Rainsford, in October 2020. Two months later, they were romantically linked after being photographed spending time together in Los Angeles and holding onto one another on a walk. The lovebirds were later spotted packing on the PDA at LAX airport that same month. Us confirmed in early January 2021, however, that the pair had gone their separate ways after a whirlwind month-long romance. They officially broke up on January 2, according to a source.

Mia Goth (Again)
Nearly two years after the couple split, LaBeouf and Goth were spotted in Los Angeles in March 2020. The two were wearing their wedding rings, despite filing for divorce in 2018.
Following a brief romance with Qualley in late 2020, the former Disney Channel star was linked to Goth once more in January 2022. At the time, the duo stepped out in Pasadena, California, and the Emma actress debuted a baby bump. Two months later, Goth was photographed pushing a stroller with LaBeouf by her side, confirming that she had given birth.
In August 2022, LaBeouf addressed the birth of the couple's first child. "I have a little girl, Isabel; she is five months old and just beginning to develop the last half of her laugh; it’s AMAZING," he wrote in an email allegedly sent to Olivia Wilde about his time on the set of Don't Worry Darling, which the actor shared with Variety. "Mia, my wife & I have found each other again & are journeying toward a healthy family with love and mutual respect."
